Scary moment

When I was 10 years old, I used to enjoy riding my bicycle in our neighborhood, which has many hilly streets. One day, I was at the highest point of the street, getting ready for a fast ride down. And suddenly, while I was at the middle of the hilly street, I noticed that my bicycle's break stopped working! I was so scared because at the end of the street, there is a busy intersection. During that quick moment, I only had two choices, either to through myself off the bicycle towards the pedestrian area, or to take a risk and continue riding down wishing the intersection would be free of cars. I decided to through myself off the bicycle, and I got several scratches and bruises over my arms and legs. The worst part of the incident, the intersection was free of cars!!!

Dream Job

My Dream Job

During my previous work experience, I found out that I enjoy business trips a lot. Therefore, I really want to be a manager in one of the largest international companies. Such companies require regular business meetings among their management staff, affiliates, and worldwide consumers. For instance, I might have to go to London to sign a contract. Next, I would have an important meeting in Frankfurt to negotiate a deal with a new partner. Then, I should attend an important conference in Dubai and so on. Another important factor of my dream job is the office location. It is my fantasy to have my office located at the top floor of a high-rise tower! I believe the office’s view can make an enormous difference in my dream job satisfaction.

Topic#1

My name is Asem Alfayez. I am from Riyadh, capital city of Saudi Arabia. After I finished high school, I moved to Dhahran, eastern province, to study at King Fahd university. In 2006, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Then, I worked in Saudi Aramco, oil company, for almost five years.

I decided to come to the United States to get an MBA. I am currently studying in an English language institute at CSUF. My goals are to improve my English to a graduate level and to pass the GMAT.

I have visited many states in the United States, but I believe California is the best one. The weather here is great all year long, in addition, it has beautiful beaches. Not to mention that Las Vegas is close by ;)

As for my hobbies, which I guess I don't have much, I like to hang out with friends and try different resturants and cusins. However, I realized lately that I spend most of my time serving the internet ! browsing news, sports, and social network websites.
